There are no wires to cut, and no adjustments to make. The module automatically pulses your third brake light when you apply your brakes. The light will pulsate on and off for about a second, then stays on steady for as long as you press the brake pedal. The unit is designed to create a gentle fluttering of light, so your car is more noticeable, yet it doesn’t aggravate the driver behind you. The “Delay-Repeat” circuit means the brake lights have to be off for at least 15 seconds before the cycle can be restarted. So, if you are in bumper-to-bumper traffic, the brake light isn’t always pulsing. Electronic components cannot be returned. Good safety device. Should come standard on Corvettes. Works good, easy to install, only 10 minutes taking my time so I wouldn’t break anything. Mine takes about 20 seconds to reset.I bought this because my Corvette is red. Red light next to red paint, you do the math. :)Although this is the best price because of the free shipping, I have to go only 4 stars because of the high price for a safety device. This should be standard on the Corvettes for safety. Plus I need to give it some time to see if it is durable.
