The headlight fit with no modifications and used the original retainer ring. The 2 passing lights also fit with no modifications and be sure to use the metal rings from the original lights. Lights work well. I have a 2009 HD Heritage Softail. This set went right into and replaced the Harley lights without any alterations of any kind. Did not have to use any of the provided electrical harness adapters. Both the main light and side fog lights plugged right in. Did not need to use the extension ring that came with the set. No changes or cuts were needed on anything. Took about 1/2 hour for changing out all three. Only tool i needed to use was a phillips head screwdriver. Went out on a couple of short…
2011 Ultra Limited – Good and Bad Pleasantly surprised at the look and feel for the price. I didn’t have to use any of the included adapters, as the lights plugged into the OEM wiring in the bike. The headlight and included adapter ring fit perfectly, but I needed a larger screw to put the stock trim ring back on, as the hole in the new adapter ring was too big. Also, disappointingly, the passing lights did not fit properly into the housings. The metal nesting rings that held the old lights in are not big enough to fit around…
