Old liquidated plugs, Not Pre Gapped Didn’t use these plugs once I received them. Dates on packaging show these plugs were manufactured in 1995 and are not pre gapped which explains why many others have said they weren’t accurate. To each his own, but I don’t want any part going in my vehicle that was manufactured more than a decade before my vehicle was built. The price for these exact same plugs at the auto parts store was only a couple of dollars more than what I paid so this isn’t a good value. Amazon did get them to me…
Are not compatible with engines listed This were bought for a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500. The original plugs were AC 41-985, Iridium Plugs. AC doesn’t make them anymore and supposedly these are the replacements. They don’t work worth a damn, since putting them in I have been getting multiple codes, random misfires, cylinder 4 misfire, etc. After looking at several Chevy group pages I found out these are just barely too short and everyone says not to use platinum plugs I have replaced them with NGK Iridiums and problems are gone.
So far so good The long story is about 4 years ago I put a 5.3l high performace crate motor in my wifes 2004 Yukon.and now with 50k miles on the motor I though a freash set of plugs would’nt hurt… I was right. Starts on the first try with the remote starter, smooth as glass idle, and maybe a bit more throtle responce.I likey!!!!
