An ACDelco Professional, premium aftermarket Ignition Coil is the high quality replacement ideal for many vehicles on the road today. It increases electrical system voltage to help ignite the air/fuel mixture as the starting and charging system starts the engine, maintains the battery’s charge, and provides power to the electrical accessories while the engine is running. An ACDelco Professional Ignition Coil uses pure copper windings to improve durability and provides higher resistance to internal shorts and dielectric breakdown. Because the number and shape of the laminations determine the output characteristics of an ignition coil, ACDelco ensures that the silicone steel plates surrounding the ignition coil correctly match the original part size and number. Since steel laminations work best when they are new, shiny, and clean, ACDelco laminations are coated to hinder corrosion and many feature molded plastic protection to help ensure that nothing is exposed. This premium aftermarket replacement ignition coil is manufactured to meet your expectations for fit, form, and function.

Outstanding quality This OEM replacement Ignition Coil by ACDelco is great. ACDelco’s Professional series line is bulletproof and reliable. I needed a replacement for my ’95 LT1 engine. This was so much cheaper than the dealer. It took me maybe 30 minutes to install this in the car. You will need to drill out the rivets on the old coil and reuse the mounting bracket. The coil comes with new bolts and nuts to mount the bracket to the coil, so you won’t have to mess with rivets. My LT1 had a backfire through the…
Perfect replacement to add a little more life to your Vehicle. I was having a code 42 problems for a year or more. I had restored 1988 K5 Blazer. The biggest problem was finding out the source of the code, which is a very misunderstood GM small block problem. The code 42 is set by either the ignition module OR the PCM. Once I replaced the aftermarket high output coil with this AC Delco D503A coil it did away with the problem. Once I stopped frying ignition modules, all was straightened out. Despite the long diagnosis, the truck is running like new. You…
Great except you must reuse the original coil bracket. PROS: Genuine AC Delco Parts quality. Performs as it should. Keeps you older vehicle original.CONS: Does not come with the bracket so therefore you must reuse your original bracket which wouldn’t be so bad except that the original unit is riveted to the bracket and the only way to remove the rivets without damaging the bracket is to gently grind off the rivets with a Dremel or a bench grinder and then use a punch to drive the rivet out.
