The Ultra Guard car cover is made of a 210 Denier polyester material with a water resistant coating on the outer layer and a soft cotton layer on the inside. It is a great choice for all-around indoor and outdoor use. The 210 denier is a very durable, strong, heavy weave, which will not rip or tear easily. It does an excellent job of reflecting sunlight, while keeping rain and animal droppings from damaging the vehicle finish. The special soft cotton inner layer protects the most delicate paint finishes. Comes with matching storage bag.
Nice cover, but not for outdoor use.,
The cover was well packaged and folded in a nice case. The cover is thick and has a soft liner inside. It fits very well, easy to install by yourself once you figure out which side is the front and which side is the back.
I received moderate rain today and checked the car after the rain stopped to see if the water bled through. Sure enough, it did. The car is wet underneath the cover. There are no vents on this cover, so I’m hoping that the cover can in fact breathe decently to let the water back out.
If you are buying this cover because you need something water PROOF, than this cover will not satisfy you. Unfortunately I was needing such a cover.
Update: you need to secure this cover to the car underneath. It has a hole on each side on the bottom. Light winds will blow the front and rear off of the car, and your rope or bungee cord will be the only thing holding the cover on. I almost lost my cover today!
