So like other reviews the retention system is pretty flimsy So like other reviews the retention system is pretty flimsy. The instructions come on one of a few small pieces attached to the mats. You need to put the matts allllllllll the way forward. The pull it back slowly and loop the large end of the plastic retainer around the post below the small lip and then slide if forward as much as possibly. Now when you drive you are always putting forward pressure on the Mat so hopefully they stay in. I was hoping they locked in better but we will see.
Cheap fastners. Not original fastening system. Cheap fastners. Rather than duplicate the original gromet arrangement, Lloyds used a cheap plastic strip attached to the back of the mats. This results in bumps in the mat and a fragile retention system.I suggest that you look for another mat.
Wear quickly The initial quality is very good–the mats look great and fit well. The problem is that after only 2000 miles, the mat has a worn down area where my right heel sits. I expected to get a year or so before seeing wear but I was disappointed.
