NOT OEM PART!! This is NOT the OEM emblem! The Back plastic parts are like a chocolate brown in color. Put the old and new emblem next to each other and its like night and day. The adhesive on the back is total wrong and only behind the flag part (the OEM is on the entire backside). Its a ridge plastic VS a flexible plastic. I am going to send this back. I only purchased it because it was advertised as the OEM and the picture shows the OEM part including the back side picture but when you open the box…
Might not be a genuine GM part, shaped different than the original emblem I’d be surprised if this is a genuine GM part. It might be, but it is not an exact replacement of the original rear emblem. I should have carefully looked at the old emblem and compared to the new before I removed the old one. I used painters tape around the old emblem so I can line up the new one perfectly. Well, the new one is shaped differently. The angle of the V is more acute (tighter), so it would not line up with my tape. The emblem outline is black, unlike what other people have said in…
Good as new again Just as good as stock, a pretty replacement. The install is simple, just carefully pry off the old badge it’s held on by a double sided tape type substance. I used a clay bar to remove any old sticky goo . This badge goes on as easy as a sticker and looks totally stock.
