   This unit actually was included with the 2015 Corvette Stingray I bought. Since I drive my Vette almost daily, I used the unit on my classic GM car, a 40 year old Pontiac Lemans, since I rarely drive that car these days. I plug it into the car’s cigarette lighter which is wired directly to the battery.

   The battery charger certainly works well and I have no complaints. However, why spend $94 when you can get an almost identical unit for $30 less. I accidently cut the wire on this unit and bought the CTEK 3300 plus cigarette lighter adapter on Amazon to replace it. I believe the Corvette unit is made by CTEK. They are very similar in function and appearance. However, the CTEK is more versatile since it comes with attachments that allow you to connect it directly to a car’s battery.

   If having the Corvette logo is worth $30 to you, I would recommend this unit. Otherwise, save yourself $30 and get the CTEK.
