A complete LIE… These are NOT 100W DO NOT BUY A complete LIE… These are NOT 100W DO NOT BUYI installed one in the right of a 2015 Explorer to compare to the OEM stock Sylvania 9005 with 47K miles on them. The light is *whiter*, but in fact was not even as bright as the used stock bulb. The beam pattern was good and even, certainly whiter, but appeared dimmer than the stock bulb on the driver’s side. Actual output is less than rated output These bulbs are NOT actually 100W bulbs! At 13.6 volts the draw of these bulbs is only 5.5 amps. This equates to approximately 74 watts. These bulbs should be drawing 7.3 amps at this voltage if they were actually 100 watt bulbs. The relationship is one watt equals one volt times one amp, or Watt = Volt * Amp.For comparison, a regular bulb from a competitor that is rated for 60 watts, draws 4.8 amps at 13.6 volts. This equates to approximately 65 watts.

Light output has obviously decreased as well. I installed them while I had the headlights out of the car and never once touched the glass or anything. Other users seem to have had similar issues with these…
