Good wires This is a must if you have some miles on your Ls engine. I own a C6 corvette, it has about 134,000 fun miles on it. The inside of the old wires fell apart when I took them out. This is a good upgrade instead of the factory wires, only thing I wish the clicked when you push them on the plug but they don’t. Just make sure you push them all the way on. And don’t forget to buy the heat protectors they don’t come with any. I used the material ones.
Ohm check before install!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Ohm test these before you install them. They should have LESS than 500 ohms resistance. My set included ONE wire that checked in under 500 ohms. The rest of them were over 500 and one of them was 15k ohms! My first set of these (from about a year ago) all registered about 315 ohms.
These shorter wires with 45* boots worked great for me I installed these on my 2002 Chevy truck. I know it says these fit cars, but I have longtube headers and the longer wire length and straight boots on wire sets made for trucks always touched the headers and burned them. I even tried some heat sleeves to no avail. These shorter wires with 45* boots worked great for me. They don’t touch the headers, and the length is good too. They probably wouldn’t work with manifolds though.
