Product arrived and was properly marked as Jet Performance 10167 … Product arrived and was properly marked as Jet Performance 10167. It is supposed to be a 180 degree thermostat, but the bulb is marked as 170 degrees! I thought that was odd as others have reported these are marked as 180 on the bulb. Installed it – guess what – it is a 170! Total junk. Threw out the packaging otherwise I would have returned this! Do not buy!
Rip off This changed nothing!! Still running at 210 degrees, and now I’m working 500 miles from home, so can’t return it. Waste of money!!
You will want to only use during summer months This thermostat does EXACTLY what it is designed to. Keep your engine running at a lower temp than what it did from the factory. When cooler whether hits, the computer will throw a code indicating a faulty thermostat. If or when this happens, replace the 160/170 degree stat with the stock 207 degree thermostat. Then clear the code.
