   Those saying that this product is junk either mistakenly bought the wrong key fob for their car because they didn’t check if it was the correct one or they feel inconvenienced by the fact that some cars will not allow you to program it on your own. I had no problem programming this through the stock radio for my 2003 Monte Carlo. I found instructions online and they were simple to follow. You can’t do this with all cars though so keep that in mind. I am happy with this purchase considering the same exact product cost triple what I paid at local parts stores.

   Ordered this remote for a used 2003 Chevy Blazer we bought my son for his first car. The used car lot we bought it from did not have the original the original remotes. I had heard that replacing remote fobs was expensive ($50+) and I was hesitant to purchase this remote because the price was so good ($14.95). I was halfway expecting a very low quality remote fob that didn’t work. When the remote came in today I was very pleasantly surprised that it arrived so quickly and seemed to be made of quality materials. I was even more surprised to get onto the sellers website and find easy to understand and follow programming instructions. It took me less than a minute to program the fob and test the functions of all 4 buttons. I am so pleased that I will be ordering a second to keep at the house as a spare. If your vehicle supports self programming of new remote fobs, I highly recommend purchasing from this seller.

   This was easy to program for my vehicle after going to their website per their instruction card insert. The only thing I don’t like is it seems to be really sensitive. It is a possibility I’m just used to the two really old used ones my car dealership gave me which died. I have a 2003 Chevrolet Impala. Be sure to check Amazon’s great tool for selecting correct categories of items your vehicle can use! I’m very glad I no longer have to insert the key to open the door then unlock for everyone else getting in the car anymore.
