Out of all the different LED taillight bulbs on Amazon, these are the ones to get, and here’s why! Confused on what LED taillight bulbs to buy on Amazon? I was too, so I bought a bunch of different brands and did an unscientific shootout! I compared and reviewed 8 different brands and designs and the LASFIT came out on top. Why did the LASFIT come out on top? The following reasons:+ Design – If you are replacing an incandescent bulb, you want to replace it with something of a similar design that the taillight housing was designed for. The LASFIT are the closest design to an OEM…
Clever Design & Surprisingly Good Despite its unusual appearance, this bulb does in fact light up a reflector housing quite well. I was a bit skeptical when I purchased them because they seem to only have LEDs on opposite faces of the bulb, but their convex shape allows them to throw light pretty evenly in all directions. They aren’t as flat as they appear to be in photos, it’s a bit of an optical illusion. They will work just fine even when the reflector housing isn’t circular, and they’re also noticeably brighter than…
Improved LED replacement but not good enough I bought Phillips, LASFIT and Sylvania 1157 tail/brake-light bulbs and compared them in my 1998 vehicle’s taillight reflector assembly designed for incandescent P21W or 1157 bulbs. The Phillips Vision are an all-reflected design and they were very dim in both taillight and brake-light modes. Incandescent bulbs were so much brighter in side-by-side comparison, they seemed like a useless novelty. However, they are better than the Vision-X brand LED retrofit bulbs that I bought in…
