Needs A Stronger Redesign I’ve owned this mat for a little over a year. I agree with another reviewer that the mat needs to be made out of rubber instead of plastic. Even though I pull onto the mat slowly, the mat’s front tire stop is crushed. The mat’s attached adhesive strip is not sufficient and the mat will shift. I solved this problem by putting four 2-1/2″ Tapcon flat-head screws through the mat’s pre-drilled holes and into my concrete garage floor.UPDATE: I bought another parking mat and filled the…
It works. Just not quite wide enough. Not much to review on this thing. The price is good, the double sided tape on the back sticks well, but isn’t impossible to remove if you need to take it up (I had to move it in my garage). The first bump is very noticeable and you’re not going to go over the 2nd bump unless you’re really trying, at least in my car. I have a sports car though, so maybe it would be easier to roll over if you had a big SUV. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because it’s not wide enough. It’s basically…
Works, but be aware of some issues Bought two of these for our garage. The mats themselves are good, could be a bit bigger for today’s large SUV wheels. Works great with my Kia Soul, you can feel the small bump easily and the big bump securely stops the car. Not so great with my Jeep Grand Cherokee 4×4. The first problem is it’s difficult to feel the small bump unless you hit the mat square on. Off to the side a bit and you can barely feel it, and it’s easy to roll over the big bump, mistaking it for the smaller one. Bigger…
