Great price and quality! This pump went in a high rpm, performance Chevy 355 with a 7 quart oil pan. Works great for the application. Oil pressure is excellent. If you are using a standard volume/pressure oil pump, and your engine doesn’t rev over 7,000 rpm’s, I suggest sticking with a new Melling standard volume pump #M55. Even if you put a new cam in or heads or whatever. I’ve seen these High Volume pumps eat a distributor and/or cam gear within a week on lower revving high horsepower engines. They put a lot of extra…
