Keeps my race car cool. Great way to keep your race car running cool. I swapped this in my turbo 351w and also lowered my fan to come on at 165. My race car now runs super cool even under hot lapping. At idle it will sit around 160ish and peak up in the 190s after several laps of drifting my mustang. No more 230 plus temps. The 160 lets the motor heat up to running temp then opens up at 160 to give full flow acting like a restrictor plate to keep the flow at bay so the cooling system can work properly.
Very satisfied with this product Tested this out today on my GM 292 boat engine. Measured the thermostat housing with my temperature gun, opened right open at 160 degrees, and settled at 170 degrees. Very satisfied with this product.
Don’t believe the Check Fit method for correct fit, it’s wrong, you will waste time and $$$$ Used the “fit check”, it’s wrong. Supposed to fit 87 Regal V6,not the correct one, size is much larger, waste of time and $$$.
