  1. Perfect for my lights and bumper First off this is in no way designed for bumper protection! It is as the title states. A light bar mount. Yes it will assist in preventing parking scuffs but its intended for mounting auxiliary lights. This item makes it simpler to mount them on today’s cars. Was easy to mount on my 2010 Hyundai, I obtained 3″ self tapping metal screws so it would go through the bumper filler and secure itself to the steel bumper support. Just screwing it to a urethane bumper wont be enough! looks great,…

A Good Little Bar I like this little bar, but there are a few things I would have liked to know before purchasing it.First of all, it’s not universal since it won’t fit if you have a license plate bracket. This can be easily fixed, however, with a few careful measurements and a power drill. I ended up mounting mine behind my bracket after drilling two accurately-placed 1/4″ holes.   3. Plan your work, work your plan. Became a huge project putting this on so my lights wouldn’t “Bounce” on a bumpy road. Triple check for fitment and plan out very carefully.On my Honda Element, has to use riv-nuts and 4, 1/4”-20 rods to securely fasten the unit. My lock nuts and fender washers keep the bumper cover from moving around. Was going to backfill with steel tube/lumber but was concerned about air-bag deployemnent in a minor tap.Coating is excellent and has held up through a very salty winter…
