Great fans! Installed these on a 1991 Honda Accord EX to replace the broken, old ones I had (also replaced the radiator, which I also got on Amazon). Read a lot of reviews, paid attention to the negative ones. The one true comment is the ties they give you do not work. The circle part doesn’t stay and pops out. The springs are not necessary. Could not keep my engine from overheating at idle I installed these fans on an 89 Camaro with a 300 horsepower Chevy 350 and a 185 degree thermostat. These fans couldnât keep the engine temp below 220 degrees at idle! I started the car with the engine cold and waited for the engine to warm to 190 and turned on the fans, expecting the temp to stay steady. It kept climbing to 220 degrees. Solid fans, good upgrade for older systems. The fans seem really solid, levels above the 30yo fans I was replacing. It was really crazy how much difference in power and size motors/fans have gotten in this instance. The tie down kit was OK, the retaining circles on what would be the opposite side came loose a couple of times, but I was messing with it the whole time to get everything to fit right, so that may have something to do with it.
