One bulb worked for 3 months while the OEM worked for 7 years. I installed 6 of these bulbs replacing all lights on the butt of my 2011 Mini Cooper, which has one brake light failed after almost 7 years since I bought the car new. So this time I figure I should replace all them albeit only one blown off. After 3 months, one of these âdouble lifetimeâ bulbs blown off. I was glad I bought 2 extra in advance. So I would rather recommend all buyers do the same and keep a couple extra just in case.
Philips 7443 One bulb burnt out after a week or so that’s when I noticed that the other bulb got so hot it melted the inside of the light housing. I tested the working bulb and noticed it reached over 300 degrees. Something that generates that much heat should be no where near plastic parts. Very poor customer service.
Works on 2005/2006/2007 Outback wagon Perfect fit for the brake lights on a 2005/2006/2007 Subaru Outback wagon.Just keep in mind, while no fault of this bulb in particular, you can’t touch these from the base when installing (as you can with some other sizes of automotive bulbs). Wear some rubber gloves so you don’t get finger oils on the bulb, and snap them in firmly.
