Great replacement fog light bulb by Philips that exceeds OEM requirements of most 896 bulbs For a “standard” replacement bulb, these bulbs out shine, last longer, and are whiter and brighter than the many “coated” bulbs out there!! An 896 bulb is a 37.5 watt bulb as well, however, they are usually “capped and/ or coated” which really diminishes the amount of “real usable light” you get from a bulb that is drawing 37.5 watts! These are great replacement bulbs for applications calling for use of an 896 bulb. Great fog lamp bulb for my ’02 Dodge Ram 2500…
Already have one burnt out! They offer great lighting and fit my 1998 explorer perfectly. Is it too much that they last more than 5 months of infrequent use?! The factory bulbs lasted freakin nearly 20 yrs!
