Philips 9005 crystal vision Ultra 2-pack automotive lamp. Please follow all certified installer and manufacturer instructions when installing this automotive bulb. Check vehicle fitment prior to installation.
Philips CrystalVision was already the upgrade bulb that came closest to the bright blue/white look of HID. Now, improved technology makes CrystalVision Ultra even whiter and brighter, and even closer to the look of HID. CrystalVision Ultra delivers the whitest light available from a halogen bulb. At a color temperature of up to 4,000K, no halogen is whiter. If you want the look of HID, CrystalVision Ultra is the light for you.
Brilliant blue/white HID look from a halogen bulb For Crystal-Clear Vision at Night
OE Xenon-powered halogens give drivers more increased light output for much better visibility of road signs and hazards. Be safer on the road during night driving conditions with an increased visibility that lets you see potential hazards sooner.
Street Legal HID Look
CrystalVision bulbs are DOT-compliant, meaning they are street legal–unlike some HID conversion kits. Get the look of HID without buying a kit, all with no wiring and no expensive install. The blue-capped bulb creates a distinctive blue reflection, with a brilliant blue/white look of HID at a 4,000K color temperature, making CrystalVision Ultra the whitest halogen you can buy.
Easy to Install
CrystalVision Ultra is easy to install, as it simply replaces the current bulbs in your car. CrystalVision Ultra bulbs are available in the most popular bulb applications, including 880, 893, H1, H3, H7, H11, 9003, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007, and 9008.

Here’s the low down folks… Firstly, Gabriel Ricci’s review is spot on, I did similar exhaustive review and read up of all the aftermarket replacement bulbs (DRLs and High Beams) for Honda Pilot 2011. These came closest without going the expensive, warranty voiding HID conversion or other brand bulbs like Syl and PIAA etc. also Philips reputation and several owners’ experience counted in the decision. The vendor Morex shipped it fast. Now if you know what you are buying into and have expectations accordingly, these bulbs…
Nice white light but not good as DRLs These bulbs are a good fit for replacements to the high beam bulbs on my 2014 Honda Accord Sport. The high beam on my car run as day time running lights (DRL) during the day and only produce 6 volts to these bulbs. They are only at their brightest when turned on as high beams at 12 volts. They produce a nice bright white light, but not at white as the pair of Philips Diamond Vision bulbs I use for my low beams which have a more 5k output temperature. I thought they would match nicely…
Very happy. See pic Bought this for the high beam on my 2013 Charger with HIDs. Amazon said this wouldn’t fit my vehicle, but a 9005 bulb is a 9005 bulb. It fits. I’m very happy with this. It is a much whiter light than the factory bulbs. I uploaded a picture to compare the CVU to the stock bulb and the difference is very noticeable. (CVU on left)
