Good Quality! I did some research on automotive lighting and the best option for bright headlights. I used to buy Sylvania Silverstars because of the ice-blue tint that mimicks the HID look. After about 5 pairs in 4 months, I realized how horrible they are and upon further research that the coating actually reduces the brightness.
Philips 9006 VisionPlus Upgrade Fog Light Bulb, Pack of 2 These bulbs were a perfect fit for the fog lamps on our 2004 RAV4. Replacement was fairly easy and each required only removing one screw on the plastic front inner fender liner so I could be pry it out slightly to access the bulb. These bulbs are brighter than the OEM bulbs, but supposedly have a shorter life span, but I don’t think that should be an issue since the original bulbs lasted about 13-years with regular use.
Good bulbs, instructions need work. The lamps work great. They wanted a fortune at the repair shop for a generic replacement. Do it yourself I told myself. One hour, lots of cuss words and a few band-aids and the job was done. My hand is half again as large as the opening to work on the lamp. I had to loosen the fasteners (not mentioned in the instructions) and that made it easy.
