Some much brake dust, so little time! Although Amazon said that this Z26-1405 would not fit my 2017 C7 Grand sport with iron disc, I did a lot of research and checked the Corvette blogs and sites before ordering. Just to let those of you who are trying to change out the C7 OEM pads to this pad because of the brake dust problem, this does fit! The rear pads, Z26-1718 also does fit the 2017 Grand sport. Time will tell how well this will work, but so far, vast improvement on the amount of brake dust on my black wheels. To me that…
Replacing the original pads with these z26 pads is a must-do I replaced the almost new pads on my Corvette with these z26 pads. The Brembo pads (oem) gave off so much brake dust that I just had to get rid of them. Ask anyone who has them and you’ll see what I mean. These z26 pads perform as well as the original pads. No fade and nothing not to like. Replacing the original pads with these z26 pads is a must-do unless you enjoy being a slave to cleaning your wheels after every drive. Not for me.
Excellent, totally worth it My Challenger SRT’s Brembo pads’ insane amount of break dust was driving me crazy. The Z26s I ordered for front and rear swapped out easily without needing modifications, they seated themselves immediately, and there was zero difference in the feel/travel of the brake pedal.
