Very bright but the base is a bit larger than normal 194 bulbs. First off, these bulbs are extremely bright and much brighter than any other 194 bulbs I’ve ever used in the past. LED included! When I first went to install them on my 2016 4runner, they were a tad tight on the base and I had a hard time getting them to fit. Where they have a resister or some electrical component in the center of the terminals makes it really tight to fit into the socket base. Nice lamps Bright and reliable, color seems warmer than most leds. They claim not to be polarity dependent, odd for a diode. I found that if it didn’t work well when first plugged in pull it and turn it over to reverse polarity. Must have reversing circuitry but seems to like it better if given correct polarity. Odd looking but good lamps, and cheap.
Good, bright bulbs… but they didn’t quite fit in my 4runner. These bulbs fit well for the license plate lights on my 2010 Mazda 3 and they were great for that application, which is what it was intended for. I tried them on my 2005 4runner interior bulbs, but the resistors on the chip were a bit too wide and made it impossible to insert them. Aside from the fitment issue on one vehicle, they worked well on the intended vehicle.
