   This is my second StopTech setup I’ve put on a vehicle. slotted rotors and street performance pads on both 2000 BMW 528i and 2002 Corvette Z06 and I have to say the break in is by far the smoothest, cleanest, and most even I have ever seen from any pads and rotors in my 14 year professional automotive career. Remember, slotted or plain rotors for race/performance driving, drilled for looks. The stopping power and fade resistance from these pads are awesome! I don’t get that feeling of ” Well that’s interesting, I don’t remember replacing my brakes with a sponge. Hmm I wonder if I’m going to stop?”. I have tried many setups in my life including brembo, zimmerman, ebc, akebono, pagid, and as of now, this is all I will use!

   Agreed with the previous reviewer; these are excellent for a the C5 Corvette. After some trial and error with other pads, I found these being recommended on the forums and bought a set. Since then I have taken my Z06 racing at the local road course and these performed phenomenal. About the same bite as the stock pad, less dust, no noise, and most importantly no noticeable fade when paired with DOT4 brake fluid. Definitely an excellent compromise between street and track.

   Awesome bang for the buck. At half the price of other street performance pads, this is a huge value for someone who wants a quiet pad with more bite than the stock PBR pads. There are more aggressive pads out there, but not for this price or with these street manners. Make sure you look up stoptech’s bed-in procedure prior to driving normally to get them broken in correctly.
