Not nearly as good as Bosch Icon I bought a set of these wipers for my car in hopes that they would be a slightly less expensive version of the Bosch Icons. I thought “Why not give these a try? They may be just as good!” Well, I think I was wrong. While the wipers do a good job at clearing the windshield of water in all conditions, there is sometimes considerable “chattter” or “jumping” in semi-wet conditions. If you are being dumped on like a tropical storm then you won’t notice it, but light rain has caused me…
Can’t go wrong but not pretty … Fit, form, and basic function are as advertised and expected from Trico. There has been no chatter they are clearing the windshield equally well in light mist to a full rain. Glass cleaning and bug removal with the washer is really good as the entire blade contacts the glass even with the lesser amount of fluid.Used as an upgrade on a 2015 Chev Equinox, the high speed aerofoil design was not expected as necessary but it worked well when caught in a recent severe storm. Waves of heavy…
Will hop / get stuck on glass at hight spped When the windshield start getting dry, the blade start hopping and like getting stuck on the windshield surface, like excessive down-force. Down-force is good, you will think, but when too much, the blade will start hopping and getting stuck. I am surprised id did not break my $300 wiper motor or the wiper arms in my 2017 Toyota sienna. This happened more than 5 times in a round trip from Al to TX at mild 50-60 degrees temperatures at speeds around 65-75 mph. The blades are just a week old, and…
