Will cause an error code on a BMW 3 series. I purchased these to replace cornering lights on my 2011 335d. Installation is easy and these go right in without any issues. I gave these 3 stars because they are not as bright as advertised, and they throw a CAN Bus error for both bulbs. I will install a resistor, and hopefully that will take care of the malfunction error – but that defeats the purpose for using LEDs in the first place as the combination of LEDs and load resistors will actually draw more current than new bulbs in the first…
Very disappointed. Not as bright as you would expect. I’m getting really disappointed at the LED hype. I have tried numerous LED bulbs and never am impressed. Even though they are really white, they appear dimmer then my stock IPF H3 50W that’s in my 7″ IPF lights. Also another fog light that is an H3 in 50W Hella appears just as bright although not as white. I can actually see the incandescent better then the LED’s. The white/blue doesn’t illuminate the road as well.
Super bright yellow LEDs!! BUT 1 out of the two failed within 3 months… These were exactly the color I wanted. They were just slightly brighter than I would like, and I was planning to surround them with black plastic tubing to cut down unwanted brightness, but one failed after a 2 hour ride.The LEDs were installed on my motorcycle as the “parking lights”, inside the regular headlamp housing, in the appropriate T10 slots, which are on continuously as well during regular operation.I purchased them April 24 2019 and they failed on June 28…
