Bases WON’T MELT like others Really like that these have an all glass base. I had purchased a large pack of Chinese 3157 bulbs but they have continually melted at the base… sometimes after only a month. I do not foresee that being an issue with these bulbs and also feel that they were a very good value.These fit well in the sockets of our GM vehicles and the lighting is on-par with OEM, which works for me.Will certainly order more when the need arises.
Best to go with an all glass bulb The all glass designe is what the factoy used in my 03 TrailBlazer. I went to the local automotive store and bought replacements when my bulbs burnt out. The only kind of bulb they sale now days in my area is the plastic bottom kind , (BEWARE OF THIS KIND OF BULB) The plastic spade with the little wires that wrap arround it that make contact with the socket. same bulbs you buy at the parts store I am a professional mechanic, and every family member and friend comes to me for their vehcile maintenance.I got sick of having to pay $3-$5 for a 2 pack of bulbs, so i bought these.Chinese, but what isn’t these days. Can’t beat the price, and work as well and last as long as everything else.I have ordered a total of 4 boxes of different bulbs, and the packaging has been good enough that I have yet to recieve a single broken bulb. Great value all around.
