Side Chips are PERFECT for my Grand Cherokee I have a 97′ Jeep Grand Cherokee and the seller recommended I purchase this bulb after having issues with an older version of the 9004 where the beam did not work. The design of this bulb with chips on the sides was a perfect solution. Even with the 90’s style head lamp, the beam is right on. I highly recommend this bulb and works great. These things are BRIGHT. Installed on a 2000 F250 … These things are BRIGHT. Installed on a 2000 F250 7.3. Tip for installation, take the allen wrench and remove the plastic piece held on by the allen screw. Then insert the bulb through the plastic retainer taking care not to damage the cable, It will be tight. Then re-attach the plastic piece with the allen screw. Insert into the light housing and twist to lock. I replaced my housings with clear housings as well. Once adjusted, these lights are wicked bright. Hopefully, they last.
Can see road much better in poor driving conditions, especially rainy nights. Clear, white light instead of the standard yellowish lights that came on the vehicle. We don’t need the high beams anymore and can see the road lines and signs much better when it’s raining at night, too.
