The air filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. This intake is 50-state legal for 1997-2004 models (CARB E.O Number D-550-3).

Quality of parts is fine, Fitment is another story Quality of parts is fine, Fitment is another story, Throtte body opening on my 1998 C5 is 4.0 inches, ARE’s hose that comes with kit is to loose fitting, And the there hose that goes to MAF is 3.75 inches and the MAF opening is 3.5 inches which is way to big, I had to fabricate a piece of 3.5″ hose to put over MAF first the ARE’s hose over it. Great fitment, great quality Great fitment, great quality.Had to use a little heat gun to get the MAF to fit into the bridge, but once heated slid right in.
