Very bright and a really nice amber color to them. So, my factory halogen fog light bulb finally burnt out after 5 years. I figured I would try a LED and go from normal head light color to amber for better visibility through foggy conditions which is common for my area certain times of the year. I got them a few days ago and I installed them yesterday morning. This morning I drove to work and like many times this time of year it was pretty foggy. Bright and perfect fit! Nice n bright yellow for my fogs. Fact: yellow is best because it provides better lightning, is easier on the eyes because it doesn’t reflect back and plays a big factor in cutting through the fog/rain without blinding others.
Dim – Useless for Fog Visibility They are a correct fit in a 899 socket, but they are not putting out 3800 lumens as a pair or 1900 lumens each. Have a look at the picture – they have less than half of the apparent brightness of the orange LED’s (from a different brand) that were rated at 3000 lumens/pair.
