Great LED Bulb for illuminating license plates! These LED bulbs made a great direct replacement for the #2825 incandescent bulbs illuminating the license plate on my GMC Sierra. They are noticeably brighter but not so bright as to be a nuisance for someone driving behind. The color matches the 6000-6500K LEDs of the backup lights and HID headlights on the truck giving it a clean, sharp look.I ordered a set for my GMC Acadia but the bulbs were too big to fit inside the license plate light assemblies. It’s like having lights on your license plate. Received as promised,installed and tried the lights before putting the trunk together.Very bright lights and very tight fit.Just in case you slam the trunk a little too hard.I will keep an eye on them for the next couple of weeks.Any problems I will do an update.
