   This item works as expected. The wire bales that retain the lid had to be massaged in my rod bender to make them into shape that would hold the lid tight against the reservoir. The lid was too loose in its original configuration. Know also that if you’re using this in a non-booster application you will need obtain separately the rubber boot that encloses the bore and rod as it’s not included. I’m satisfied with my purchase of this master cylinder and its performance on my old Chevy. Deduct one star for the reworking of the bales.
