Sounds good, but a little difficult with some fittment issue … Sounds good, but a little difficult with some fittment issue with the driver side “Over the axle pipe”. The weld bead on the “Over the axle pipe” was a bit wide and it prevented the 15mm socket from sitting properly upon the head of the bolt. I solved the issue by using a stainless steel washer, which elevated the bolt head, thus allowing the 15mm socket to get a proper seat over the bolt head.
Loud when it has to be If you’re looking for an exhaust that’s not too loud when you don’t want it to be, this is the perfect exhaust for you. It made my corvette sound 100% better just at idling. It adds a very low rumble to the sound that didn’t exist before with the stock pipes. When you punch it the exhaust really opens up and you can hear this thing at it’s best. I love just cruising down the street and letting go of the gas at around 1800rpms hear the low gurgling sound coming from the exhaust…
It’s music to your ears! Upgraded this from the stock series that originally installed from the GM production, and Borla added a major hit for this exhaust; sound and the quad designed exhaust just made the Vette into a true sounding muscle car!
