I also did not want to attach it to the bumper with glue. This bracket is well made, easy to install, and removable by just pulling a spring loaded pin. The mounting bracket calls for holes to be “drilled” in the bottom fascia of the front bumper. That requires that you jack up the car high enough for the drill motor/bit. Instead of drilling, I used the drill bit, held in a vice grip and used a propane torch to get the drill bit red hot. I had marked the hole placement with a marker pin so all I did is push the hot drill bit through the…
Great function. Nice product. Allowed me to mount the plate offset to the right to help with the airflow of the supercharger intercooler. It ended up looking so good that I just leave the plate on most of the time. Had a lot of complements at car meets.The best part of course is that you can take it off very easily. I would recommend lubricant in the sleeves to prevent any corrosion.
