Cadillac CTS-V Racing Low Temp Thermostat 2009-2015 Mishimoto

Mishimoto has developed a racing thermostat engineered specifically for the 2010-2015 Camaro SS/Zl1. The Mishimoto Camaro thermostat fits flawlessly into your stock thermostat housing. It will promote greater cooling efficiency throughout your engine. Mishimoto racing thermostats will significantly lower high engine temperature produced by Modified and Upgraded engines. Once the engine is fully warmed up the Mishimoto racing Camaro thermostat will open up at a lower temperature than the stock thermostat, allowing the coolant to flow through the engine sooner thus reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures. And improving long term reliability of your vehicle’s cooling components.

  1. Pricey , but very quality part A bit on the price side for a simple thermostat. But.. VERY well manufactured. This does fit an LS1 with the later model two piece thermostat housing. (same as an LS2) See pic.It is a snug fit with the rubber grommet so work it in slow, it will fit. Also , make sure to align theslot/tab of the thermostat to the housing. Also , the center of the thermostat is larger than the oneI removed , so much better flow. Car had a stock 86C stat in it and it ran anywhere from 198 to…

  2. Worked good at lowering temperature but it failed in under 1000 miles Installed this a month ago. I liked the cooler temperature but it failed with less than 1000 miles on it. The valve rubber came apart and was jammed inside. Caused my engine to sometimes overheat and sometimes never warm up.

  3. Works like a charm keeps my coolant temp under 179 Got with Mishimoto radiator camaro ss. Works like a charm keeps my coolant temp under 179. So radiator does its job. And temp keeps the block cool.
