Not as Bright as Halogens Ordered these to replace the halogen fog light bulbs in my 2006 Tundra. Illumination performance was not as good as the halogens. Fit was OK, but lamp “tree” is a bit on the short side, so some light bleeds off behind the reflector. But, the daylight color updates the look of the truck and is very visible to oncoming traffic, making them ideal as daytime running lights (my truck is not equipped with DRL’s from the factory).Update â Bulbs have been installed for six months…
solid. These work great. I’ve used them for a couple weeks (20 hours) and they work solid. No flickering and fit perfectly in my 2005 Durango. One of my driving light housing is broken and lets water in and the bulb hasn’t had any issues with the extra moisture.
Don’t fit 2010 Forrester These lights are supposed to fit the 2010 Forester as running lights.. The do no without modifying the attachment site. When you do finally get them in place, they do not shine towards the front of the car but in a big circle.
