Installed in a Ford F-150 I am doing a review because before I purchased this I wanted to know what it would look and fit like in a 2013 Ford F-150 Fx4. See pictures I posted with this review. It looks decent and it fits snuggly. I have my iPad mini in it with a OtterBox Defender Case and it seems like itâs all going to work well.
Bad articulation makes this phone holder pretty useless. While the phone holder is solid and well built, it is lacking useful articulation. The arm has only one hinge joint – that means that it is impossible to angle the upper arm towards you, and still be able to see the screen. This is problematic if your cup-holders are near the dash, like mine.If I angle the upper arm away from the dash, the screen either faces downwards or away from me, which is totally useless. I cannot angle it away from me, because it hits the dash. Thus I have to…
Secure! Fits! Sturdy! Deserves top rank! Like this product very much! I would rate it higher, but since I never trust five star reviews, I never read them. I read 2, 3, and 4 star reviews mostly, because every product has a few drawbacks. I want to know the truth. Most 1 star reviews are written by people without the wit to read directions, so I discount those. This is working like a champ! It cradles my phone, and is easy to disengage. It’s base is adjustable, and fits my F-150 ash tray slot very nicely.
