!!!!DOESN’T FIT!!!! Just a heads up. Not sure what State’s license plate this fits, but it’s not for Illinois. Every edge is exposed. Not worth the hassle of returning it for the price. I’ll just keep it on while I look for another one. SEE ATTACHED PHOTOS
“Chrome” finish doesn’t hold up I also have a Washington plate, but the fit was acceptable. My complaint is after 6 months the “chrome” plating is already pitted and corroded! Sure, it’s an inexpensive product, but 6 months is simply unacceptable. This is the second Cruiser Accessories license plate frame this has happened to. The first frame was plastic with a “chrome” finish and it also pitted and corroded. I was hoping a metal frame would have better quality plating, but this appears not to be the case.
Overlay – not a frame. It frames the plate – on the top. Was looking for one that surrounds the plate but didn’t read feedback. It is an overlay and the plate sticks out a hair all around (see pic). Will look for a different one. Also – this one had a slight inward bow on top and bottom. Was so cheap that it is not worth returning. The metal though, is quality and solid (despite the bow). Will be interesting to see how the chrome cover holds up until I can find a new one.
