  1. 3 stars = It’s ok. 3 stars = It’s ok. I purchased to replace the older 1721 I had for 18 years that went bad. Couldn’t find a rebuilt kit. This newer version is re=engineered. Meaning, it’s been cheapened. The casting is lighter and more skimpy. Less bolts holding the body together. Pretty sad.They should have it as a different part number than the previous model.I had to re-plumb for the fuel lines. Was hoping just to drop it in and be done.   2. Great pump This fuel pump works great. I needed to add a fuel pressure regulator to get it to work well with my tri-power setup (three Rochester 2 bbl carbs) because Rochesters do better with only about 4 psi, but otherwise I had no problems at all with this pump. I have about 400 horsepower and this pump delivers all the fuel I need.
