The fuel pumps have a unique valve design that improves flow quantity and quality, and can support engines with up to 550 horsepower.

Meaning, it’s been cheapened. The casting is lighter and more skimpy. Less bolts holding the body together. Great pump This fuel pump works great. I needed to add a fuel pressure regulator to get it to work well with my tri-power setup (three Rochester 2 bbl carbs) because Rochesters do better with only about 4 psi, but otherwise I had no problems at all with this pump. I have about 400 horsepower and this pump delivers all the fuel I need.
