EZ Detail Brush Big

I can’t even count the number of different types of brushes and methods I tried out to clean the backs of wheels. Wine glass cleaning brushes, so-called spoke brushes that had metal surfaces, towels taped to sticks… the list goes on. I tried everything.

When I first saw the EZ Detail Brush I was skeptical. I had tried other brushes of similar design before, but they weren’t without flaw. Bristles were too stiff for me to be comfortable using on expensive wheels, or they were too soft to do any good on dirty ones. Bristles were too long, too short; I swear I was starting to think that I was just being too picky, looking for something that didn’t exist or was magically impossible to make. Luckily I was wrong.

The EZ Detail Brush is really everything that I had been looking for. The bristles are the right length to reach into hard to reach places, and they are stiff enough to clean tough brake dust and road grime safely. The shaft is flexible to help with cleaning hard to reach or difficult to clean parts like brake calipers, spoke backs, and wheel wells. It is durable, safe to use on all wheel types, and even easy to clean. There are no exposed metal surfaces to damage wheels. My search for a wheel cleaning brush is finally over.

  1. Great Brush Valued addition to my detailing arsenal. I have 6 spoke deep well rims and this is great at getting the barrel clean. Th entire brush is plastic so no worries about scratching the wheels. It is also deep enough to get the entire barrel and flexible enough to get into tight spaces. Previous comments about soft bristles are true with regards to not being able to clean heavy brake dust and grime, but there really isn’t a safe brush for wheels that can. Once that stuff gets embedded into the…

  2. Really gets in there I have a large pickup truck with some tight spaces on the wheels. After applying a brake dust releasing product to the wheels I just this brush with soapy water to agitate the dust and cleaners. It worked perfectly. It has a rigid yet some what flexible center shaft. I bend to hold its shape if needed. Upon inserting this brush in between the “spokes” of the wheel and scrubbing a bit I noticed that not only did it clean the front but it seemed to be cleaning the inside of the wheel as…

  3. Waste of money I purchased this to make cleaning my 10 spoke wheels a bit less tedious (that means there’s over 100 corners to scrub out each time). Car has Brembo brakes which are very dusty. Using this with Sonax wheel cleaner I was very unimpressed with the results. So I cleaned 2 wheels with it and 2 wheels with an old cotton wash mitt. The wheels cleaned with the brush were still covered in a light layer of brake dust, while the wheels cleaned with the mitt were just about spotless. Sure I may get…
