The rugged design replaces conventional sealed beam halogen products, operates close to daylight (5,600 degrees Kelvin) color temperature, and has extremely long life of 15,000 hours versus GE’s standard headlamp of 320 hours. The headlamp is split horizontally with the low beam emitted from the top half and the high beam from the lower half. High impact resistant, non-yellowing polycarbonate lens, die-cast aluminum housing and solid state electronics sealed in epoxy ensures vibration resistance.

Great replacement for stock halogen 2B1’s on a GMC box truck Replaced the 2B1 sealed beam halogen lights in a 1995 GMC TopKick straight box truck with a pair of these headlights and what an incredible difference it made. Far better than the old halogen sealed beams. First one out of the box died after 24hrs. Amazon replaced quickly and they’ve been working great since. Much better low beam output, especially out to the side. Greatly improved high beam output, matches the headlights on my vehicles 20 years newer. One downside I’m worried about is that these don’t generate heat, so when it snows snow will build up in front of them and you’ll be blind.Also the shipped product doesn’t have the grey band across the lens, it’s just clear and shows off the…
NOT WORTH $400 per pair Not impressed at all. I gave it 3 because I haven’t bought any other LED head lamp and cannot compare them so I’m giving the benefit of doubt or it would be 1 or 2 stars. They are NOT worth the price. I bought these used from amazon and they are not the same color, I’ll update with pictures later, but one has a blueish hue and the other a yellowish one… and they are the exact same part. So for $400 bucks the pair…. NOT WORTH IT. I’m very close to returning them and just buying some thing…
