Fits LBZ PERFECTLY Perfect fit and OEM product. Be sure of your engine model. Noticed a few surveys saying the hoses didnât fit or hose nipples were in the wrong positions. They obviously ordered one for the wrong engine ie LLY vs LBZ. This one fits the LBZ perfectly. Find and order a spacer for easier replacement of the filter at the next change.
Fixed 2007.5 LMM was losing prime on hot summer days. Researched on DuramaxForum & replaced this filter head assembly. Fixed my issues. Great value, easy DIY – hardest part was removing the fuel lines on the old assembly. Use a 90 degree pick to loosen the lines. Took me 1 hour total start to finish, Iâm not a great mechanic. Could probably do it again in 30 min. No special tools required, just basic sockets or wrenches & pliers.
