Key does slip. It’s only a deterrent; like a removable stereo faceplate, the wheel key isn’t best left in the car As others have noted, the key did start to slip a couple times when torquing down lugs. I wonder about this failing overtime.Like anything, this is just a deterrent. Consider where to keep the key for a moment: you need it in the car in case of a flat tire. So do you hide the key inside? Thieves bold enough to steal wheels might easily consider breaking into the vehicle to look for it. So hide it well and remember where. First wheel lock I’ve gotten that actually blends with the others on my car. Even for wheel locks there is something to love here. Speedy delivery, quality packaging was my first impression.I like that these tended to blend into my OEM lug nuts better than others I’ve bought in years past for other vehicles (and I have a lot of vehicles, all with wheel locks). Nice but ,,,,, I have a 2014 Nissan Altima. The wheel locks did fit. They were the same type as the originals. The problem I have is the size. The wheel locks really stick out. It would of been nice if the locks were shorter.
