Works great on a 2007 FJ Cruiser for towing, see review! This style transmission cooler “tube and fin” was recommended by my mechanic, he said it cools more than the panel style. Cool It Great Product. Looks good, Well made, Easy to install. I didn’t like the way they would have you mount it, so I made my own mount. I would recommend.
Super easy, anyone can do it Easy install. Do purchase the nipples to make splicing the new cooler lines to the old ones easy peezy. I used Sharpies to plug the existing cooling lines to prevent the loss of fluid. Lost less than half a cup of fluid. I had to add some rubber spacers to shift the cooler out about 1/4″ to clear so have some shimming material on hand just in case. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being hard, this was a 3. Anyone can do it.
