Good color, questionable life when running as a DRL. I ran a pair of these in my truck foglights for 2-3 years without issue so I felt pretty good about them. Light color is a nice pure yellow, not washed out. However, I’m also running these as High beam/DRL’s in my IS300. After less then a year the glass deformed and is burnt on the inside. Light output has obviously decreased as well. I installed them while I had the headlights out of the car and never once touched the glass or anything. Excellent quality and low price. I bought these to replace the high beams/ daytime running lights on my 2008 Subaru Outback. I was considering buying 9005 HID ballasts and replacement bulbs but I went with these because I read that the lower voltage of the daytime running lights (Subaru uses the high beams as DRL’s) make HID’s flicker or not work.
