A complete LIE… These are NOT 100W DO NOT BUY A complete LIE… These are NOT 100W DO NOT BUYI installed one in the right of a 2015 Explorer to compare to the OEM stock Sylvania 9005 with 47K miles on them.The light is *whiter*, but in fact was not even as bright as the used stock bulb. The beam pattern was good and even, certainly whiter, but appeared dimmer than the stock bulb on the driver’s side.   2. Good color, questionable life when running as a DRL. I ran a pair of these in my truck foglights for 2-3 years without issue so I felt pretty good about them. Light color is a nice pure yellow, not washed out. However, I’m also running these as High beam/DRL’s in my IS300. After less then a year the glass deformed and is burnt on the inside. Light output has obviously decreased as well. I installed them while I had the headlights out of the car and never once touched the glass or anything.   3. Excellent quality and low price. I bought these to replace the high beams/ daytime running lights on my 2008 Subaru Outback. I was considering buying 9005 HID ballasts and replacement bulbs but I went with these because I read that the lower voltage of the daytime running lights (Subaru uses the high beams as DRL’s) make HID’s flicker or not work. I’m glad because these are plenty bright and much less expensive and less of a hassle than the 8000k H7 HID kit that I installed for my low beams. I am happy with my HID’s, but had I…
