Hypertech 32501 Max Energy Power Programmer

The Max Energy tuning provides additional power and optimized transmission functions, resulting in less fuel to accelerate and maintain cruising speeds without the torque converter unlocking and transmission down-shifting to a lower gear. The results are maximum power and fuel mileage. For gas vehicles that come from the factory capable of using regular octane fuel, two (2) optimized tuning programs are provided: one for premium, and the other for regular. Only one (1) power tuning program is provided for vehicles that were designed from the factory to use only premium fuel. For diesels, the Max Energy offers three (3) stages of power tuning for diesels. Even the highest power level, stage 3, maintains safe EGT while towing the maximum weight specified by the vehicle’s manufacturer. Hypertech’s low EGT, proper transmission shifting, and superior tuning that doesn’t require de-fueling.

  1. Huge difference in the way my truck drives! I’ve used Hypertech programmers on vehicles throughout the years and have always been pleased with them. I got this one mainly to adjust the speedometer for 35” tires on my Silverado 4×4. I also adjusted the shift points so the transmissions shifts at 300 rpms higher than stock. What a difference this made! The transmission doesn’t feel like it has to downshift near as often, making the truck feel like it’s in the right gear. I also disabled the active fuel management to keep it from going…

  2. Could have got better but ran out of time and freeway Installed on my 2015 Silverado with a 5.3Mpg went up 2.5 on the freeway. Could have got better but ran out of time and freeway.Little to none on the street.Adjusted the shift firmness to 75% and left the shift point alone. My truck runs great now with the 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires.

  3. Worked well for the money, Fixed my speedometer for … Worked well for the money, Fixed my speedometer for tire size, transmission firmness adjustment is very noticeable, on a 850 mile trip uphill it brought mileage up about 2mpg on Premium setting, return trip mostly downhill mileage came up nearly 4mpg. I drive 60000 miles per year so I will definitely get my money back with this investment. My son spent money on a different brand that came with more features, but for someone looking to add a little horsepower and gas mileage, I totally recommend
