Good product with a slight problem… The overall length of the base is slightly longer than a standard 1157 bulb due to larger base connections (the solder points that make the electrical connection). A bit of reducing with sandpaper will bring the contacts to the same as an 1157. Otherwise, bulb works well and is a good safety addition.
Very Bright Love the brightness and the flashing effect. It says they (won’t) fit my 2007 Harley Davidson Softail but they fit like a perfectly made glove.
Flashing without additional hardware The LEDs are a lot brighter than the standard 1157 bulbs. I love the flashing feature without any additional hardware or electronics – epitome of plug and play. The only issue I had (and it wasn’t one with the bulb itself) was that my taillight also served as my license plate light. Unfortunately, red license plate lights are not legal where I’m at so I had to install a different option to light up my plate.
