Hefty, Good-Looking Product These substantial license plate screw covers are nicely made. They are quite big, though, so consider their considerable diameter before ordering. The “BMW” emblem has adhesive on the back that settles solidly into place. Ours have been on for several weeks and appear to be there for good. Once in place, one would have to pry the emblem off to get at the screws, and I’m not optimistic that they can be re-used. So, perfect for folks who don’t plan to ever remove their license plate…
Great…. But…. I bought 4 packs of these for front n back of my 2 cars… They are easy to put on and look great at first…. BUT…. They loose their shine and become dull and turn foggy in less than six months. I had to sand them down and spray painted them with a clear coat so now they’re back to shiny BUT I wish I didn’t have to fix them.
Good quality, easy to install. I’ve installed these multiple times and they have always worked well. Note that it comes with a variety of screws, or you can use existing. It works better with flat, bugle or countersunk type screws, so if you use existing, and they are pan heads for instance, the screw head may pooch out and keep the BMW circles from adhering properly.
